In relation too Ollie’s, last post, take a good gander at this. Looks Immense.
*note to james* keep this as a post if you really want, but is the sort of thing you post as a comment. Just takes up a post slot on the homepage ’tis all.

Dead Rising 2.
Crackdown 2.
Assassins Creed 2.
GTA IV – Ballad of Gay Tony.
4 games which have had a lot of eyes aimed at in the last while. They all have the capabilities of being brilliant, and after these media release they all look it. The only thing I don’t like is the Crackdown 2 MP footage. It looks to be the same engine, same graphics, and same feel of gameplay. Maybe the new features will make up for it. The trailers all look great. Click on the more tag to see 5, count ‘em, 5 trailers.
School. Anyone who can read this has most certainly been there. Its a place of learning, and within its walls, the smartest thrive under their thirst for knowledge, and some people suck. But, my question is, Why do the exam boards set work in the curriculum that does not actually benefit your life in the future? Sure we all know that getting good grade means that you can achieve greater and better things than someone that got a D-, but some of the things set are pure nonsense.
What i am really trying too earmark here is the fact that School is now teaching us how too take a certain exam, and within this paper is things that we will never ever use again in our lives unless we take a highly specified job in that area. Teachers are teaching us things that are irrelevant too our actual future, but if you know this hefty chunk of irrelevance, you will be picked in preference over someone who didn’t know how too find the volume of a square based pyramid, even though the job is working in administration. This I find is rather illogical. But i am absolutely stumped on ideas of how too do it better.
Also, we seem too have world views forced at us from every single direction possible. Our parents may have strong views a certain way, say they are strict catholics, the view of God will be forced upon you no ends. Our science teachers have world views of gases exploding too create the world, and the R.E department seems too think that a wizard did it. Whatever you theory on this, there should be a subject pulled into place that practices nothing but free thinking, and maybe shatters the bounds of religion or science and helps people become one with their own mind and freedom too think. There is no wrong answer for world view, and as a person, everyone should reserve the right too their own, unbiased of others opinion.

Also, for pre-orderers (new word!) the L4D2 demo will be out on the 27th of oct, 4 days before halloween! And on top of that, moosey death is sweet. Dead Rising 2 is out next march, and the developers have released a new screen. Enjoy the gore!

May contain spoilers. Actually, scrap that, Will defiantly contain spoilers, so you don’t have to waste your money.
The film starts with a party, woman walking around in bikini’s, etc.etc. Probably the best part of the film, (the one exception being when the film actually ends). Then there is a whole “Shocking plot twist” that i sat through with little less than a feasible emotion across my thoroughly bored face. Whilst my friends were practically messing their pants with fear and anticipation, i felt that i had wasted £3.50 or whatever i spent on my ticket.
If you want a good laugh, by all means watch this film. The plot is absolutely awful. It’s like “The Final Destination” feeding you gore and funny deaths, but with a straight face, taking all the fun out of the film. And a tyre tool which seems too be the recurring tool of death, other than flare guns, bottles lodged in necks etc.
Awful film, that instead of actually reinventing the genre and using intuitive ideas too make the film more exciting, it has stuck too the same principle of “have something jump out after a tediously lengthy build up” trick that may have been scary 30 years ago.
A few horrible stereotypical jumpy scenes later, and there is a weird bad guy = good guy but actually = bad guy thing that just tops off the movie as a flop. Then finally and inconveniently the emergancy services show up, just AFTER they killed the bad guy. This is one of the many logical flaws in the film. Well i know a place inside of me died when i watched this film, maybe the same will happen too you. If you were atractted too the film by the trailer with half naked woman in it, you will be disappointed.
Also, sorry for the fairly shot review, i think my mind decided not too remember too much of this.
New top banner time! You may remember jamez911. Apart from trying to copy may name, he did do some posting back in the early days of MoR. Now he’s back. I’ve heard news of a film review coming in soon, so look out for that. Secondly, tombstone (if that is going to be his wordpress username) will be our sports editor, branching out our horizons. So if you’re into gaming, film, sports or just want general info on whats out there, be sure to visit us regularly! Also, we may be getting a new domain. More info later in the future. What will be closer is my ODST review, coming out either Today, tomorrow or the day after depending on how quick I do the campaign.
This list doesn’t look amazingly hard, so i’ll be looking to complete this and have a good time along the way. Annual is still the only thing left on Halo 3 though.

I recently obtained a new computer in a quite light case with one of those big holes that are all the rage. Other than being able to check if your motherboard is on fire, I can only assume it is there for visual effect, which it pulls off quite well. Along with this, I got round to buying Red Alert 3 due to a deal where I could get it half price if purchased with the expansion. I’ve always had a love for RTSs, but in my eyes RA has always been one of the best, and I will probably comment on it further when I get round to it.
So, after watching it I’m round a mates house blogging it on his iPod touch. If you haven’t seen it yet, I beg you to. This is simply the best film in a good long time. Don’t miss it!
So, Left4Dead 2 news again? Firstly there is going to be a multiplayer demo. No mention of date but maybe Halloween would be the right time to do it! Secondly, L4D2 has been banned in Australia due to the graphic violence involved with the melee weapons. 3 of 5 of the campaigns have had details released, my favourite being the Dark Carnival, an amusement park. Lastly, two other new specials have been announced. The Evil Clown will feature in the Dark Carnival campaign with the Jockey (a movement manipulator) being added to all of the campaigns. All i’m hoping for is one of the last 2 campaigns to be a shopping mall!
